Spanish Living Learning Community

Would you like to take part in a community that enriches your experience at Georgetown?
Would you like to improve your Spanish while you are exploring different cultures and serving the community?

Then… join the Spanish Floor!

The Spanish Floor will bring together Georgetown students and faculty to consider relevant global issues from different perspectives, seek exciting professional opportunities, and have fun. Students will primarily speak Spanish within the community. The floor will also host study sessions, movie nights, engage in community service, host faculty dinners, discussions and much more.

The floor will be located on the ground floor of Copley Hall and led by Professor Mercedes Ontoria. Members of the floor will gain credit for their experience by taking the one-credit course, "The Hispanic World: The US and Beyond."

Since this will be the floor's first year, members will be able to play a large role in creating their community.

Please note: The application for the Spanish Floor is separate from the other LLC applications. Please apply at the following link by February 9th.
