The Routledge Handbook of Study Abroad Research wins 3rd place for the 2020 Best Book Award by The CIES Study Abroad & International Students SIG Awards Committee

The CIES Study Abroad & International Students SIG Awards Committee has confirmed that The Routledge Handbook of Study Abroad Research and Practice has been selected as the 3rd place winner for the 2020 Best Book Award category. The Routledge Handbook of Study Abroad Research and Practice is an authoritative overview of study abroad and immersive context research specifically situated within applied linguistics and Second Language Acquisition (SLA) for graduate students and researchers in these fields. The book was co-edited by Dr. Cristina Sanz and Dr. Alfonso Morales-Front. Dr. Sanz is a Professor of Spanish Linguistics, Chair of the Department of Spanish and Portuguese, and Director of the Barcelona Summer Program at Georgetown University. Dr. Morales-Front is an Associate Professor of Spanish Linguistics, Director of the Spanish Summer Institute, and Director of the Quito Summer Program at Georgetown University.
