Breaking Boundaries In Portuguese
Join the Department of Spanish and Portuguese as we explore the concept of boundary as a dynamic in the encounter with the Other. Taking this as a point of departure, we will discuss diplomacy for the 21st century, reimagining the potential of these relations as a powerful space for the sharing and building of knowledge for coexistence in a diversity of worlds.
Our distinguished guests include Gloria Alhinho, the Camões I.P. lecturer at Georgetown University, who will be joined by Lívia Franco, Professor of Political Science, Catholic University of Portugal, and Henrique Henriques, Political Counselor, Embassy of Portugal in Washington D.C.
