Soledad Bianchi has been a Professor of Latin American and Chilean studies at the University of Chile for over twenty years. She has also taught as a visiting professor at universities in France, the United States, Brazil and Puerto Rico. Bianchi’s scholarship focuses on issues of poetic form and memory, politics, sociology and gender. Her works include Pliegues. Cultura y memoria. Chile: 1990–2013 (2014); Libro de Lecturas—poesías, poetas, poéticas—(2013); Lecturas Críticas, Lecturas Posibles (2012); La memoria: modelo para armar (1995); and Entre la lluvia y el arcoiris. Algunos jóvenes poetas chilenos (1983).
