3:30pm – 6pm (ICC 462): Catalan Cinema: Uncertain Glory (a film by Agustí Villaronga, with 8 Gaudí Prizes). It’s 1937, and in war-torn Spain, a young officer in the Republican Army will hopelessly fall for the charms of a deceitful femme-fatale who will not hesitate to use him in her best interest. In Catalan with English subtitles.
6pm – 8pm (ICC 462): Catalonia Today: Quo vadis? A conversation with two professors from the Government Department, Georgetown University: Dr. Laia Balcells and Dr. Josep Colomer, both specialists in political science, will discuss about the current political situation in Catalonia.
8pm (ICC 450): Catalan dinner (traditional Catalan tapes)
