I am Ph.D. Candidate (ABD) in Spanish & Portuguese Literature and Cultural Studies at Georgetown University in Washington DC. I hold a BA degree in Communication awarded by UPSA University in Bolivia, and an MFA degree in Creative Writing in Spanish awarded by New York University for which I was funded with a full scholarship by the NYU Graduate Science and Arts School Fellowship. I write short fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and essays. I have published two short story books: “Humedad” (2010, National Literary Prize of Santa Cruz de la Sierra’s Municipal Gov.) and “Salmuera” (2019, Mantis Narrativa Ed.), and my stories have been featured in national and international anthologies (1 ) (2 ). I have published short stories and articles in magazines in Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Spain, and the USA.
