I am a passionate and dedicated Ph.D. student in Hispanic Linguistics with a keen interest in various facets of language study. My research and teaching pursuits revolve around sociolinguistics, linguistic attitudes, language contact and variation, dialectology, and bilingualism, encompassing both Spanish and English.
My academic journey began with a B.A. in Modern Languages from the Universidad Libre de Colombia in 2015. I furthered my education with an M.A.T. in Spanish at Northern Arizona University in 2019, and I currently hold an M.S. in Hispanic Linguistics from Georgetown University, earned in 2023.
In the realm of teaching, I've actively contributed to the field. In my Master's program, I designed a curriculum tailored for Spanish Heritage speakers. Currently, as a Ph.D. student, I serve as the Assistant Director in the Spanish Language Program for the Intermediate level. I also engage with students through instruction in various Spanish levels and content classes.
Beyond the classroom, I've been an active member of the Georgetown academic community. I represented graduate students as a GAGE (Graduate Association of Georgetown) representative and served as the vice president of GSPSO (Graduate Spanish and Portuguese Student Organization) in 2023-2024
